Andre Petersson

Andre Petersson is a Swedish winger on HV71.

Petersson was drafted by Ottawa in 2008, while playing junior hockey for HV71. He appeared in 10 games for HV71’s senior club in 2008-09, and won the junior league championship that season. He scored 55 points that season, and is regarded as one of the top offensive prospects in the system, although he has some work ethic issues and is not very strong defensively.

Petersson won a silver medal at the 2009 World Juniors with Sweden.
