Jonas Holos

Jonas Holos is a Norwegian defenseman on Farjestads BK.

Holos was drafted by Colorado in 2008, after playing 5 seasons in the Norwegian professional leagues, all with the Sparta Warriors. In his final two seasons in Norway, he scored 52 points and recorded 99 penalty minutes in 80 games. In 2008, he signed with Farjestads BK, and scored 16 points in his first season in the Elitserien. Holos was apparently asked to come play in Colorado, but decided to fulfill his 2 year contract with Farjestads first.

Holos has played for Norway at a number of international tournaments, including the 2008 World Championships, where he first caught the eye of NHL scouts.
