Henrik Karlsson

Henrik Karlsson is a Swedish goalie in the Calgary Flames' organization.

Karlsson has played in the Swedish leagues since 2002, when he joined Oskarshamn IK. He spent 2003-04 playing in France, but returned to Sweden the following season. In 2006, he joined Hammarby IF, where he appeared in 77 games over two years. In 2008, he spent 8 games with the Malmo Redhawks. He spent most of 2008-09 with the Redhawks, aside from 7 games with Sodertalje SK in the Elisterien. He signed with Farjestads BK in 2009, and spent another season in Sweden before being invited to training camp with Calgary, who owned his rights at that point. He'll most likely end up either in the minors or back in Sweden, since there are already a couple of established NHL goalies on the roster.
