Joakim Andersson is a Swedish center on Frolunda HC.

Andersson was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 2007, but has remained with his Swedish club for the past two seasons. Andersson broke into junior hockey with Frolunda HC in 2005, and had a breakout season in 2006-07. He scored 20 goals and 46 points that season, and played in his first Elitserien contest. He spent most of 2007-08 on loan to Boras HC, where he scored 23 points. In 2007-08, he returned to Frolunda.

Andersson has played in more junior international games than any other Swede. He has played in 76 junior international games, scoring a total of 21 goals. He has played in 4 major tournaments, and won two silver medals at the ’08 and ’09 World Juniors.
