Fredrik Pettersson

Fredrik Pettersson is a Swedish winger on Frolunda HC.

Pettersson was drafted by Edmonton in 2005, after playing his second season with Frolunda’s junior team. That season, he had 17 points, and decided to come to North America the following year. He spent two seasons playing with the Calgary Hitmen in the WHL, scoring 93 points in 111 games. He returned to Sweden in 2007, where he made his professional Elitserien debut with Frolunda’s senior club. In 2008-09, he scored 8 goals and 26 points, while accumulating 67 penalty minutes.

Pettersson played for the Swedish junior team in 2005, 2006 and 2007, scoring a total of 10 points in international junior competition.
