Jimmie Olvestad

Jimmie Olvestad is a Swedish winger on Djurgardens IF.

Olvestad has played professional hockey since 1998, when he joined Djurgardens. He was drafted by Tampa Bay in 1999, but played two more seasons in Sweden before joining the Lightning in 2001. He played 111 games over three seasons with the Lightning, recording 17 points. During the lockout, he returned to Djurgardens, and stayed with the club, despite NHL play resuming in 2005. In 2006-07, he posted a career high 22 points, as well as 104 penalty minutes.
