Andreas Engqvist

Andreas Engqvist is a Swedish center on Djurgardens IF.

Engqvist recently signed with the Montreal Canadiens, but has begun to play his 5th season in the Elitserien with Djurgardens. He joined the club for his first professional game in 2006. He scored 9 goals and 16 points for Djurgardens in 2008-09, despite only playing in 31 games. Previous to playing with Djurgardens, Engqvist spent a number of seasons playing with Spanga Hockey, in their junior program.
