Oscar Eklund
SwedenOscar Eklund is a Swedish defenseman on Djurgardens IF.
Eklund has played nearly his entire career in the Djurgardens system, starting in 2004, when he joined their junior club. He made his professional debut in 2006, when he appeared in 17 games. The following year, he played in 33 more games for Djurgardens. He has yet to score a point in the Elitserien, and spent 2008-09 in the HockeyAllsvenskan, Sweden’s 2nd tier league. He returned to Djurgardens for the 2009-10 season.
Eklund played for Sweden at the 2008 World Juniors.
