Brett Skinner
Brett Skinner is a Canadian defenseman on Amur Khabarovsk.
Skinner was drafted by Vancouver in 2002, and went on to play his college hockey at the University of Denver. In his final season at Denver, he scored 4 goals and 35 points. He then spent the next few seasons in the minors before making his NHL debut with the New York Islanders in 2008. He played 11 games with the Islanders before being traded to Atlanta. He wouldn’t play a game with the Thrashers, as he finished the season in the AHL and signed with Colorado in the 2009 offseason. He never played with the Avalanche, but scored 28 points in the AHL with the Lake Erie Monsters. He opted to play in Russia in 2010, where he joined Amur Khabarovsk.
