Mark Flood
Mark Flood is a Canadian defenseman on the New York Islanders.
Flood was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2003, while playing in the OHL with the Peterborough Petes. Flood put together a solid minor league career as an offensive defenseman, scoring 15 goals and 44 points in 2003-04, his best OHL season. In 2005, he made the jump to the AHL, playing with the Syracuse Crunch after a season in the ECHL with the Dayton Bombers. He then spent three seasons with the Albany River Rats, scoring 6 goals and 31 points in 2008-09. Flood signed with the Islanders in the 2009 offseason.
