Mathieu Darche is a Canadian winger on the Montreal Canadiens.

Darche was never drafted, but has played for a number of professional and semi-pro teams throughout his career. After playing college hockey at McGill University, and scoring 27 goals and 62 points in his senior year, Darche entered the Columbus program, joining the Blue Jackets in 2001. He would play parts of three seasons with the Blue Jackets before being moved to Nashville, where he played two games during the ’03-04 season. In 2007, he joined the San Jose Sharks for 2 games, before being moved to Tampa Bay for the ’07-08 season. He played 73 games with the Lightning, scoring 7 goals and 22 points. In 2009, he signed with Montreal during the offseason, after spending the ’08-09 campaign in the AHL, where he scored 31 goals and 66 points with Portland.
