Tim Brent is a Canadian center on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Brent was drafted by Anaheim in 2004, after playing four seasons with the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors of the OHL. In his final season in the OHL, he scored 26 goals and 67 points, as well as recording 105 penalty minutes. Brent spent most of the next four seasons in the minors, playing 15 games with the Ducks in 2007, when he scored his first NHL goal. In the 2007 offseason, Brent was traded to Pittsburgh, where he played one game before being traded to Chicago in 2008. He signed with Toronto during the 2009 offseason.
