Yannick Weber
SwitzerlandYannick Weber is a Swiss defenseman on the Montreal Canadiens.
Weber was drafted by Montreal in 2007, after scoring 41 points in 51 games with the Kitchener Rangers in OHL. He spent another season in the OHL, scoring 55 points before jumping to the AHL in 2008. He was called up for three games with the Canadiesn in 2009, and recorded one assist.
Weber has played for Switzerland at the 2007 and 2008 World Juniors, as well as the 2009 World Championships.
