Andrej Meszaros is a Slovakian defenseman on the Philadelphia Flyers.
Meszaros was drafted by the Ottawa Senators, 23rd overall in 2004, and made his NHL debut in 2005. He finished that season with 39 points, establishing himself as a top offensive defenseman. He was traded to Tampa Bay in the 2008 offseason. He never put up the same numbers that he did in Ottawa with the Lightning, and finished his 2 years in Tampa Bay with just 33 points in 133 games. At the end of the 2010 season, however, he was traded to Philadelphia for a 2012 draft pick.
Meszaros played for Slovakia at 8 international competitions, including the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
