Vincent Lecavalier is a Canadian center on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Lecavalier was drafted by Tampa Bay in 1998 with the 1st overall pick, after he scored 115 points in a season in the QMJHL. After scoring 67 points in his second NHLseason, Lecavalier was named team captain. In 2004, however, his play helped lead the Lightning to the franchise’s first ever Stanley Cup. In 2007, he won the Rocket Richard Trophy by leading the league in goals with 52. In 2008, he signed an 11 year contract worth $85 million. He was then awarded the team captaincy.

Lecavalier has played for Team Canada 4 times, winning the gold medal at the 2004 World Cup.
