Alexei Semenov

Alexei Semenov is a Russian defenseman on the San Jose Sharks.

Semenov was drafted by Edmonton in 1999, and joined the Oilers in 2002. He split time between the AHL, NHL and Russian Super League over the next three years, before being traded to Florida in 2005. He returned to Russia in 2006, before signing with San Jose in 2007. Semenov’s best talent is his shot, which has been registered at 105 mph.
