Dennis Seidenberg
Dennis Seidenberg is a German defenseman on the Boston Bruins.
Seidenberg was drafted in 2001 by Philadelphia. He joined the Flyers in 2002, but split time between the NHL and AHL for 2 seasons before being traded to Phoenix in 2006. He was traded to Carolina in 2007. In 2008-09, Seidenberg had a career year with the Hurricanes, scoring 5 goals and 30 points, helping the Canes reach the Eastern Conference Finals. He was not re-signed, however, and was signed by Florida in the 2009 offseason. He played 62 games for the Panthers in 2009-10, scoring 2 goals and 23 points before being traded to Boston at the trade deadline, as they looked to add an offensive defenseman for the playoffs. Unfortunately, he played 17 regular season games for the Bruins but suffered an injury and was lost for the playoffs.
Seidenberg has represented Germany 5 different times internationally.
