Jussi Jokinen
Jussi Jokinen is a Finnish winger on the Carolina Hurricanes.
Jokinen was drafted in 2001 by the Dallas Stars, but spent four seasons with Karpat in the SM-liiga before coming to the NHL in 2005. He has made a name for himself as a shootout specialist, scoring on his first 9 straight attempts. He had the best season of his career that season, finishing with 17 goals and 55 points. He was traded to Tampa Bay at the 2008 trade deadline, but spent only one year with the Lightning before being moved to Carolina at the 2009 deadline.
Jokinen has played for Finland 6 times, and has won five medals, including a silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
