Tim Conboy

Tim Conboy is an American defenseman on the Buffalo Sabres.

Conboy played 2 seasons of college hockey at St. Cloud State after being drafted in 2002 by San Jose. He played two seasons in the AHL before signing with Carolina. He made his NHL debut in 2008, and has split time between Carolina and their AHL affiliate for parts of three seasons. In 2009-10, he played just 12 games for the Hurricanes, and was allowed to walk as a free agent in the 2010 offseason. He signed a one year deal with the Sabres, where he'll be competing for a full time roster spot on the blueline.
