Kyle Quincey
Kyle Quincey is a Canadian defenseman on the Colorado Avalanche.
Quincey was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 2003, after playing in the OHL for 4 seasons. He joined the Red Wings for one game in 2006, and 12 games over the next two seasons. He was picked up by the Kings in 2008, and helped fill in for injured star defenseman Jack Johnson. In 2008-09, his first full NHL season, he appeared in 72 games, scoring 38 points and recording 63 penalty minutes. In 2009, he was traded to Colorado as part of the trade that sent Ryan Smyth to the Kings.
