Raitis Ivanans
Raitis Ivanans is a Latvian winger on the Calgary Flames.
Ivanans was undrafted after playing nearly ten years in the minor leagues, making a name for himself as a heavy duty enforcer. He was signed by Montreal in 2005, but played only 4 games before signing with Los Angeles in 2006. In his first full season with the Kings, he set a career high with 140 penalty minutes in only 66 games. He has over 100 penalty minutes in every season he has played in so far, and 2009-10 was no exception. In just 61 games with an average ice time of less than 5 minutes a game, he put up no points and 136 penalty minutes. He was signed by Calgary during the 2010 offseason.
