Matt Greene

Matt Greene is an American defenseman on the Los Angeles Kings.

Greene was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 2002. He played college hockey at the University of North Dakota, where he was captain. He joined the Oilers in 2005, and made a run at the Stanley Cup with them in 2006. He was traded to Los Angeles in 2008, and was named an alternate captain shortly after.

Greene played for the US at the 2007 and 2008 World Championships.
