Denis Gauthier

Denis Gauthier is a Canadian defenseman on the Los Angeles Kings.

Gauthier was drafted 20th overall by the Calgary Flames in 1995. He made a name for himself as a hard-hitting defenseman over 7 seasons with Calgary, culminating with a 113 penalty minute season in 2003-04. After the lockout, he signed with Phoenix, but was traded to Philadelphia at the trade deadline. He spent the next two seasons in Philadelphia before being traded to Los Angeles in 2008.

Gauthier played for Team Canada at the 1995 World Juniors.
