Shawn Thornton is a Canadian winger on the Boston Bruins.
Thornton was drafted in 1997 by Toronto, but by the time he made his NHL debut in 2002, he had been traded to Chicago. He spent three seasons with the Blackhawks, before being moved to Anaheim, where he won the Stanley Cup in 2007. He signed with Boston during the offseason, and has seen the most playing time of his career with the Bruins.
