Jon Sim is a Canadian winger on the New York Islanders.
Sim was drafted by the Dallas Stars in 1996, but continued playing in the OHL until 1998. He then split time between Dallas and various minor league teams over the next 5 years, before being traded to Nashville. He played only 4 games in Nashville before being moved to Los Angeles. He spent two seasons in LA, before being traded to Pittsburgh at the 2004 trade deadline. He came back from the lockout with the Philadelphia Flyers, but did not even make it through the whole season before being traded to Florida. In 2006, he signed with Atlanta, where he set a career high with 17 goals in 77 games played. He signed with New York in 2007. In all, Sim has played less than 400 NHL games over 11 seasons with 8 different teams.
