Mike Comrie
Mike Comrie is a Canadian center on the Edmonton Oilers.
Comrie was drafted by his hometown team, the Edmonton Oilers, in 1999, while playing college hockey at the University of Michigan. He joined the team in 2000, and had a career high 33 goals and 60 points in 2001-02. He was traded to Philadelphia, where he played 21 games, before being traded to Phoenix. He spent the next 3 seasons in Phoenix, playing 10 games with Farjestads BK of the Elitserien during the lockout. He played well with Phoenix, but chose to sign with New York in 2007. After a season and a half in New York, Comrie was traded to Ottawa at the 2009 trade deadline. He scored 3 goals and 7 points for the Senators in 22 games, and was signed by the Oilers in the 2009 offseason.
Comrie played for Team Canada at the 2002, 2003 and 2006 World Championships, winning gold in 2003.
