Mike Mottau
Mike Mottau is an American defenseman on the New Jersey Devils.
Mottau was drafted in 1997 by the New York Rangers, after playing college hockey at Boston College, where he won the Hobey Baker Award as the NCAA’s best player in 2000. He joined the Rangers in 2000, but played only 19 games before being traded to Calgary in 2002. In 2007, he signed with the Devils, where he finally saw regular playing time and took advantage of it, earning himself a spot in the starting lineup.
