Stephen Valiquette is a Canadian goalie on the New York Rangers.
Valiquette was drafted in 1996 by the Los Angeles Kings. He made his NHL debut with the New York Islanders in 2000, playing six games with the team before signing with the Edmonton Oilers in 2003. His entire time with the Oilers, he played less than 14 minutes, and gave up 2 goals. He signed with the Rangers in 2004, and has been the team’s backup since Kevin Weekes left the club.
