Peter Stastny
Paul Stastny is a Canadian-American center on the Colorado Avalanche.
Stastny, the son of Hall of Fame forward Paul Stastny (who played for the Nordiques), was drafted by Colorado in 2005. He played college hockey at the University of Denver before joining the Avalanche in 2006. He scored 28 goals and 78 points in his rookie season, finishing second in Rookie of the year voting behind Russian superstar Evgeni Malkin.
Despite having dual citizenship, Stastny opted to play for Team USA, playing at the 2007 World Championships.
