Marek Svatos is a Slovakian right winger on Avangard Omsk.

Svatos was drafted by Colorado in 2001, and joined the club in 2003. His rookie season, he tied the NHL record with 9 game-winning goals, but was injured after only 61 games, finishing with 32 goals and 50 points. He suffered a number of injuries which have hampered him from reaching his full potential as a talented NHL scorer, but he did have a career high 32 goals and 50 points in 2005-06. After his production dropped over the last few seasons, he remained unsigned during the 2010 offseason, and opted to head for Russia, where he signed with Omsk for the 2010-11 season.

Svatos played for Slovakia at the 2000 and 2002 World Juniors, as well as the 2006 Winter Olympics. He also suited up for the 2010 World Championships.
