Cody McCormick
Cody McCormick is a Canadian forward on the Buffalo Sabres.
McCormick was drafted by Colorado in 2001, after playing in the OHL with the Belleville Bulls and recording 23 points and 135 penalty minutes. He joined the Avs in 2003, and bounced back and forth between the NHL and the AHL for the next few seasons. In 2008-09, he set a career high with 55 games played, and recorded 11 assists and 12 points along with 92 penalty minutes. He spent 2009-10 with the Portland Pirates in the AHL, where he had 29 points and 168 penalty minutes. He made an appearance with the Sabres in the 2010 playoffs and had 2 assists, and was subsequently re-signed by the Sabres in the 2010 offseason.
