TJ Hensick
TJ Hensick is an American center on the St. Louis Blues.
Hensick was drafted by Colorado in 2005, after drawing attention with the American U-18 team and the University of Michigan. In his senior year at Michigan, Hensick scored 23 goals and 69 points. He then began playing in the AHL, until he was called up to Colorado in November of 2007. He scored 11 points in his first season with the Avalanche over 31 games. The following season, he again split time between the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL and Colorado at first, but eventually ended up playing 61 games with the Avalanche, scoring 4 goals and 21 points. He played just 7 games for the Avs in 2009-10, as some of the other young players on the team made some real advances in their level of play. He was moved to St. Louis during the 2010 offseason, where he should have another chance to make a full-time NHL roster.
Hensick played for Team USA at the 2003 World U18 Championships.
