Brett Clark
Brett Clark is a Canadian defenseman on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Clark was drafted by Montreal in 1996, where he broke into the league in 1997. He spent two seasons in Montreal, before being moved to Atlanta, where he saw limited playing time over the next three seasons. He was traded to Colorado’s AHL affiliate in Hershey in 2001, where he spent most of the next 3 seasons, aside from one 12 game call-up in ’03-04. Since the lockout in 2005, he was a regular player on the Avalanche, setting career highs in 2006-07 with 10 goals and 39 points. He saw his production slip in 2008-09, as he had only 12 points and a career low -16 rating. He scored 20 points again in 2009-10, and signed with the Lightning as a UFA in the 2010 offseason.
