Jochen Hecht

Jochen Hecht is a German center on the Buffalo Sabres.

Hecht was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in 1995, but did not join the team until 1999. He played two seasons with the Blues before being traded to Edmonton in 2001. Hecht played his first full NHL season with Edmonton, but was traded to Buffalo in 2002. In 2006-07, Hecht recorded a career high 19 goals, 37 assists and 56 points as the Sabres made a solid run through the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Hecht played for Germany at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
