Ian White is a Canadian defenseman on the Calgary Flames.
White was drafted by Toronto in 2002. He debuted with the Leafs in 2005, scoring five points in his first 5 games. In 2006-07, he finished with 3 goals and 26 points. over the next few seasons, he became one of the most productive defensemen on the Leafs, but was traded to Calgary at the 2010 trade deadline as part of the trade for Dion Phaneuf, and finished with 12 points in the last 27 games with the Flames.
White has played for Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships, winning silver in 2003. He also played at the 2005-06 Spengler Cup.
