Andrew Peters
Andrew Peters is a Canadian left winger on the New Jersey Devils.
Peters was drafted by Buffalo in 1998, after playing in the OHL. Peters broke into the NHL with the Sabres in 2003, after spending three seasons with the Rochester Americans in the AHL. Peters has developed into one of the league’s most feared enforcers, with at least 100 penalty minutes in each of the last four seasons. In 28 games for the Sabers in 2008-09, he recorded only 1 point, and had only 81 penalty minutes, the first time in his career that he did not record at least 100 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Devils in the 2009 offseason.
