Ondrej Pavelec is a Czech goalie on the Atlanta Thrashers.

Pavelec was drafted by Atlanta in 2005, after impressing scouts with his performances at a number of junior international competitions. He started 5 games with Atlanta in 2007-08, and through 5 starts in 2008, has put up respectable numbers.

Pavelec played for the Czech Republic at the 2004 U17 and U18 tournaments, as well as the 2006 World Junior Championships.
