Colby Armstrong is a former professional hockey player in the National Hockey League. He has played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Atlanta Thrashers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, and Vaxjo Lakers HC.

Career
He joined the NFL in 2001 as the 21st overall pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins. They assigned him to play for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the start of the 2002-2003 season. He did not make his NHL debut until the 2005-2006 season.In 2008, he was traded to the Atlanta Thrashers. Then in July 2010, he joined the Toronto Maple Leafs. In July 2012, he signed to play with the Montreal Canadiens. Then before he retired, he played for the European team – the Vaxjo Lakers HC.
