Glen Metropolit is a Canadian center on the Montreal Canadiens.

Metropolit was originally undrafted, and made his NHL debut in 1999-00 with Washington. He split time between the Capitals and their AHL affiliates over the next few seasons, as well as playing 2 games with Tampa Bay in 2001. In 2003, he decided to play with Jokerit of the Finnish SM-liiga, and spent two seasons in Finland, emerging as the team’s most prolific scorers, finishing his first season with 50 points. He then spent a season with HC Lugano in Switzerland, leading the league in scoring and winning the championship. He signed with Atlanta for the 2006-07 season, but was traded to St. Louis at the trade deadline. He signed with Boston in the 2007 offseason, where he put in his most impressive NHL season, finishing with 33 points. He signed with Philadelphia in the 2008 offseason, and played 55 games with the Flyers. He scored 14 points with the Flyers, but was placed on waivers in February of 2009, and was claimed by the Canadiens.

In 2006, Metropolit played for Team Canada at the 2006 World Championships.
