Lawrence Nycholat

Lawrence Nycholat is a Canadian defenseman on the Vancouver Canucks.

Nycholat was undrafted but signed with the Minnesota Wild in 2000. He spent the next three seasons in the AHL, playing in 9 games with the New York Rangers in 2003-04. He also had a 18-game stint with the Washington Capitals in ’06-07, as well as 4 games with the Ottawa Senators. Nycholat was traded to Vancouver in 2008, and made the starting roster for the ’08-09 season.
