Ryan Kesler
Ryan Kesler is an American center on the Vancouver Canucks.
Kesler was drafted 23rd overall in 2003, by the Canucks, after playing a season at Ohio State Univeristy. He joined the Canucks for 28 games in ’03-04, and returned as a full time player after the lockout. Kesler developed into one of Vancouver’s top performers, recording 37 points in ’07-08, as well as performing on their penalty kill and as one of their top defensive forwards.
Kesler won a gold with the U-18 USA Junor team, and played at the 2003 and 2004 World Junior Championships, as well as the 2006 World Championships.
