Ladislav Smid

Ladislav Smid is a Czech defenseman on the Edmonton Oilers.

Smid was drafted 9th overall in 2004 by the Anaheim Ducks, but was traded to the Oilers as part of the deal that brought Chris Pronger to Anaheim. He joined the Oilers in 2006, and has been a permanent member of their roster ever since.
