Michael Ryder is a Canadian winger on the Boston Bruins.
Ryder was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1998, and joined the club in 2003-04. He was impressive his rookie season, scoring 25 goals and 63 points to lead all rookies, also setting a career high in points for himself that has stood through this season. Ryder broke the 30-goal plateau in both the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons, but played poorly in ’07-08, prompting him to sign with Boston in 2008.
