Tom Gilbert

Tom Gilbert is an American defenseman on the Edmonton Oilers.

Gilbert was drafted by Colorado in 2002, and went on to play his college at the University of Wisconsin, winning a NCAA championship in 2006. He joined the Oilers the following season, for 12 games, scoring a goal and 6 points. In 2007-08, he set a team record for goals scored by a rookie defenseman, finishing with 13 goals and 33 points.

Gilbert played for Team USA at the 2008 World Championships.
