Stephane Veilleux

Stephane Veilleux is a Canadian left winger on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Veilleux was drafted by Minnesota in 2001, and has developed into one of the team’s primary defensive forwards. Veilleux joined the team in 2002, and, since the lockout, has played in over 70 games in each of the last three seasons, setting a then-career high with 11 goals in ’07-08. In 2008-09, a contract year for Veilleux, he had the best season of his career, scoring 13 goals and 23 points. As a free agent, he was signed by Tampa Bay in July of 2009.
