Steven Reinprecht
Steve Reinprecht is a Canadian center on the Florida Panthers.
Reinprecht was undrafted , but signed with the Los Angeles Kings after playing college hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was traded to Colorado along with star defenseman Rob Blake in 2001, and went on to win his first Stanley Cup. His best statistical season was in 2002-03, when he recorded 33 assists and 51 points. He was traded to Calgary in 2003, and traded again to Phoenix in 2005. Reinprecht was one of the Coyotes' most consistent players during his four year stint in Phoenix. He scored 16 goals and 46 points in 2007-08, and nearly matched those number in 2008-09, despite playing in less games. At the end of the 2009 season, Reinprecht was traded to Florida for prospect Stephan Meyer, as Florida looked to pick up veteran leadership in return for the young talent Phoenix needed to rebuild.
Reinprecht won a gold medal with Team Canada in 2003.
