Andrew Brunette
Andrew Brunette is a Canadian left winger on the Minnesota Wild.
Brunette was drafted by Washington in 1993, after a solid career in the OHL. Brunette played his first NHL games in 1995-96, and would split time over the next three seasons between Washington and their AHL affiliate. He was drafted by Nashville in the 1998 Expansion Draft, and scored the first goal in franchise history that season. The next season he joined another expansion club, spending two years with the Atlanta Thrashers. In 2001, he signed with Minnesota, where he spent the next three seasons. After the lockout, he joined the Colorado Avalanche, where in 2006-07, he set career highs with 27 goals and 56 assists for 83 points. Brunette re-signed with Minnesota during the 2008 offseason.
