Ray Emery is a Canadian goalie on the Philadelphia Flyers.

Emery was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2001, while playing in the OHL. He joined the Senators organization in 2002, appearing in only 6 games for the Sens over the next two years. In 2005, he earned much more playing time, and won 23 games in 39 starts. The following season, he posted 33 wins in 58 starts, helping the Senators reach the 2007 postseason. Emery had a poor season in 2007-08, winning only 12 games, and ended up spending 2008-09 in Russia, playing in the KHL. He returned to the NHL with the Flyers in the 2009-10 season.

Emery has become known more for his off-ice antics than his play, as he was involved in a number of altercations with different teammates in Ottawa. He was also part of the brawl between the Senators and Sabres in 2007, fighting both Martin Biron and Buffalo enforcer Andrew Peters. He has also been the subject of a large number of traffic violations.
