Wayne Primeau is a Canadian center on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Primeau was drafted in the 1st round by Buffalo in 1994. He has been a career journeyman, and a solid checking forward on a number of teams in the NHL. He played for the Lightning after the Sabres, and was then moved to the Penguins. He spent three seasons with the Sharks, and then another two in Boston. He was traded to Calgary in 2006. His best season was in 2003-04, when he played a career high 72 games, and finished with 9 goals, 29 points and 90 penalty minutes. He played only 24 games for the Flames in 2008-09, and was traded to Toronto in 2009, where he has played primarily on the fourth line.
