Brandon Prust
Brandon Prust is a Canadian winger on the New York Rangers.
Prust was drafted by Calgary in 2004. He played ten games in 2006-07, and was relegated back to the AHL for the 2007-08 season. He put up good numbers in the AHL and the OHL and was expected to be a solid prospect. He developed more into a checking forward and has yet to be trusted with full game minutes. He split 2008-09 between Calgary and Phoenix, as he was traded at the deadline, but re-signed with the Flames for 2009-10. He played a career high 43 games with the Flames before he was traded to the Rangers in the trade that sent Olli Jokinen to New York. He finished the season strong in New York, scoring 9 points in the last 26 games, doubling his career point total.
